Founded in 1972, Frisco Bay Industries designs, develops, markets and installs integrated solutions for financial institutions, retail chains, major corporations, government agencies and private commercial firms. Frisco Bay's systems include financial transaction processing, automated teller machines (ATMs) and integrated security systems which are designed to help clients improve their competitiveness and the cost effectiveness of their operations.
In March of 2004, Frisco Bay Industries was acquired by the Stanley Works. Founded in 1843, Stanley is a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of security solutions and hardware tools. The company boasts revenues in excess of 2 billion dollars and currently trades on the NYSE under the ticker SWK. As stated in its first quarter analysts forum, Stanley is very proud to now be a leader in the Canadian ATM industry and is financially committed to its growth in Canada and globally.
Frisco-ATMS, a division of Frisco Bay Industries, deployed their first white-label ATM machine in February of 1998. Since then the business has grown strongly to over 2000 ATM installations across Canada processing in excess of 15 million transactions annually. Frisco-ATMS strives to maintain an uptime percentage in excess of 99%, as we understand the importance of reliability and customer service.
Our install base includes, Airports, Transportation Hubs, Universities, Colleges, Hotels, Casinos, Bar & Restaurants, Shopping Centres, Retail outlets and Convenience Stores.
Frisco Bay maintains its head office in Montreal, Quebec, while maintaining sales & service offices in every major city across Canada. Frisco Bay currently employs approximately 200 staff nationwide. Every Frisco Bay employee is bonded with Criminal record checks prior to being hired.
Frisco-ATMS has 20 employees dedicated strictly to managing and running the day-to-day operations of its ATM division. In addition, Frisco-ATMS utilizes the resources of other divisions of Frisco Bay to manage the administrative and service side of the business (i.e. ATM maintenance, purchasing, invoicing, accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, sales, shipping & receiving, and inventory management)
